Penstamon Digitalis "Husker Red" (Foxglove Beardtongue)

Penstemon digitalis 'Husker Red', also known as Foxglove Beardtongue, is a perennial plant with maroon-red leaves and stems, and white tubular flowers that bloom in panicles on tall stems. The leaves turn greener as they age, but retain maroon veining. In the fall, the leaves turn a gradient of apricot and burgundy. The flowers are attractive to hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies.
